Project Objectives
Focused around the new brand ETERNA Animation, the project will build a platform that develops young creators who possess world-class expressiveness and business skills and ensures animation produced in Japan maintains a strong international presence. The goal is to complete and release to the world the first feature film of the ETERNA brand in 2030 to showcase the ability of a Japanese original work that combines commercial and artistic success.
Project Approach
The project will offer a curriculum that combines the production of original works and international training, as well as facilitate creativity and education, underpinned by the history and track record of TOEI ANIMATION CO., LTD. It will build a sustainable global talent circulation model through establishing a practical education program that guides creators from short-form to feature-length projects, giving back to educational institutions and the industry, informing governmental policy recommendations, showcasing works at major international film festivals, being involved in the film market, and providing international training at a world-renowned studio.
