Project Objectives

The project will enhance the framework to support the production and dissemination of creators’ work in the arts and cultural sector, as well as develop specialists such as coordinators and managers who will be responsible for fundraising, market development, and project management. In addition, by visualizing the necessary skills and knowledge and accumulating and sharing know-how, the project aims to promote talent development at similar institutions and organizations across Japan, and to raise social recognition and status of cultural professions.

Project Approach

While undertaking design projects with an eye to international expansion, the project will provide on-the-job training for program managers. Through collaboration with partner organizations and similar institutions in Japan and abroad, skills and knowledge related to talent development will be researched. In addition, based on these findings, an application will be developed and released as a support tool to achieve nationwide rollout.
