Project Objectives

Through this project, new courses in “Pop & Rock Music” and “Sound Produce” will be established in the Musical Arts Major in Showa Graduate School of Music Master's Degree Programs, along with an affiliated creator school for primary and secondary school students.
An integrated educational framework will be developed by aligning training from early education through secondary school with existing undergraduate-level programs, aimed at the continuous cultivation of music creators.

Project Approach

The educational framework to be developed will focus on nurturing of highly advanced professionals through (i) clarification of skills necessary for music production, performance, and management, (ii) expansion of market access by collaboration with domestic and international institutions, (iii) understanding legal practice and related topics, and (iv) establishment of a quality assurance system. Through invitations of overseas creators and participation in overseas training programs, skills necessary for the market will be analyzed and reflected onto the curricula. In addition, seminars regarding legal practice and workplace improvement will be conducted.
