Project Objectives
The aim of this project is to develop intellectual property (IP) professionals needed in domestic media sectors such as animation, video games, music, etc., who are well versed in not only how to produce such content but also areas such as legal affairs, business administration, and transmedia, in order to maintain the production of compelling content while increasing its success overseas. To address this, a new IP Produce Course will be established, with the goal of training IP business producers in Japan and overseas.
Project Approach
The IP Production Course develops professionals who acquire knowledge of IP development and licensing management and are capable of overseeing the entire business process in the content field, from IP creation and cultivation to global expansion. Students will experience the business process end-to-end in the international market through exhibiting at one of the world’s largest international B2B exhibitions to enhance ties with stakeholders in industry, government, and academia in Japan and overseas.The program teaches an international business mindset and problem-solving skills,laying the groundwork for overseas advancement.
