Project Objectives

Kaishi Professional University will collaborate with local educational institutions and companies in Niigata to enhance Japanese anime production technologies as well as develop and implement programs to facilitate overseas business development. The aim is to nurture talents necessary for overseas business development of Japanese anime in hope that it will also lead to community revitalization.

Project Approach

Centered on the Anime and Manga Department at Kaishi Professional University, the program will develop and implement a talent development program aimed at updating Japanese anime production technologies and promoting overseas expansion. By implementing structured learning programs to acquire knowledge and skills to become creators, directors, and producers, starting from high school to colleges and ultimately graduate schools, the University aims to nurture talent, revitalize the community, and help students cultivate capabilities to become global players.

Kaishi Professional University, located in the heart of Niigata City, is the only comprehensive professional university in Japan that has three faculties--- the Anime and Manga Department, Faculty of Business Creation, and Faculty of Information Science. The ultimate aim of the University is to nurture professional talents who are equipped with specialized knowledge and techniques required in growth areas.
