Project Objectives

The organization works on an international co-production of the new opera "The Great Wave" and a project to send young musicians to an overseas music festival. These initiatives aim to enhance the global presence of Japanese arts and culture and provide young Japanese musicians and staff with meaningful opportunities for professional growth.

Project Approach

This initiative sends promising musicians to the prestigious Lucerne Festival to enhance their skills and broaden their international opportunities. Their achievements will be showcased through concerts in Japan. Additionally, a collaboration with the Scottish Opera is in progress for the new opera "The Great Wave" based on the life of Katsushika Hokusai. The initiative aims to further develop new generations of musicians and staff who are actively engaged in the international music scene.
