Project Objectives
We aim to nurture talented young animators by equipping them with globally applicable skills, creative mindsets, and knowledge of how to market anime in the international arena, as well as by exposing them to the working styles of top global professionals. By combining these with Japan’s unique expertise, they will put their learning into practice. Our goal is to cultivate leaders who will drive and guide the future of Japan’s animation industry.
Project Approach
We will select promising young talents in the field of animation—such as directors, producers, and animators—who are expected to play key roles in the future. They will be provided with opportunities to learn about animation production, planning, promotion, and leadership, all within the context of both domestic and international industry trends. After participating in internships at leading overseas animation studios, they will produce a pilot film, which will be showcased at international animation film festivals and similar venues. Through these efforts, we aim to cultivate future leaders who will drive Japan’s animation industry forward.
