Project Objectives

This project focuses on creating a new series following Super Angels, an opera originally produced for the Japan Cultural Expo and New National Theatre Tokyo in 2021, with the goal of reaching new international audiences. By connecting artists across disciplines and borders, the project seeks to build a new model for training and global expansion. By combining cutting-edge expression through AI and the extraordinary expressive abilities of individuals with disabilities, the initiative aims to generate worldwide impact from Japan.

Project Approach

Composed by Keiichiro Shibuya, “Super Angels” is a new-concept opera depicting a future of human-technology coexistence. This project brings an international director as co-creator for the new series, fostering talent in each role from creation to overseas expansion. Young multi-skilled artists form teams with mentors to create and develop continuously in this new field.
